remember my cake from last year? :)

it's adorable on all levels, and friends are still asking about it.

well, i've been meaning to write about the geniuses behind it,

but i just can't seem to find the perfect time. until now! =)

Let's Bake Love by Rina & Charl

is the brainchild of my good friends, well, Rina and Charl. :)

they're hobby buddies who fell head over heels in love with baking and creating beautiful cakes.

 these are all specially made designer fondant cakes. ♥
i don't cake speak, but whatever! all i care is how adorable these are.
not to mention yummy cake goodness in every bite! :)

 
they're so beautiful that they put instant big smiles on everybody's faces.

they also make designer cupcakes & toppers for all occasions. :)

your imagination's reach is the limit. your whims are their command.

it's my inaanak's (goddaughter) first birthday! and we partied like

it's 2thousand&12. haha.:D oh boy, don't you just love

children's parties? all that sweet stuff, balloons and games?

we had so much fun! or at least i did.=)

my inaanak is so smart. Chloe can clap her hands now,

and do the mano, and walk. i'm not really sure,

but i think it's too early for a 1year old to be able to do these.

and ate Nicole! she's getting more and more better posing

for pictures. she's such a little Ghie! ♥

under my umbrella

 i've always had this weird thing for umbrellas. and you wouldn't

understand even if you tried. they're the only thing i've wanted

to customize besides dresses. i want my own hand at 'em.

and i want one with uber chic print under that only i can see.

ugh, umbrellas that are chic and functional? to die for!

 if only i can get one like this. i shall be a happy girl.

loot bag

 i was cleaning my drawers the other day, and was able

to collect a pile of what's what and what-not. ;)

this cleaning thing is part of a bigger organizing plan.

i told myself i was gonna organize all my things and stuff this

first quarter of the year. i have to seriously get out of

my hoarding self. i keep everything! and i don't even know why.

 now this baby isn't going anywhere! not ever. =)

 straight to the trash. read: must-not-keep-incriminating-evidence.

 this was a stupid token from work. stupid talaga! who'd work

hard for this?! tell meeeeeee!

i got this bubblegum glass for my birthday in 2007, and i still

haven't used it. *hoarder* see what i mean?

my first solo flight. =)

 found love notes and other stuff too. i gotta say some
were really kilig. i think i heard myself sigh a "really? this happened?"
hahaha!:D i don't remember what happened on this
day, but it's just cute how one gets instantly creative
when rightly motivated? ;) "im CRAZY for you? seriously!

 i have plenty of these. and stick-on notes, and notepads.
and pens. and stationery. and letterheads. all unused.

 you gotta give it to this dude. he's still alive! and
he still does the 'i love you.' kyooot!

these are my favorite school documents when i was still in UP.
i fell in love with libraries and with books even more
because of these magic cards. always almost filled
them to the last boxes each sem. =) bibliophile.

the drawers're just an eighth, or smaller, of my
organizing goal. burned everything but the phone, or threw them
away. still got more.=) some will have to go to Caritas.
the others in the fire again. i never thought this
'cleaning out your closet' thing can be this much of fresh air.
hhhmmmnn. aaaahhhh. =)

sweet shoe dreams

fasimna bring these lovely pictures in my mind to slumberland.

i promised myself i'm wearing heels/pumps to school next term,

and i found a pair i love at Charles & Keith.

i'm really glad they carry size4 and size5 now.

 i wish the guards will let me in with these. the silver

lining (that just sounded weird), might be an issue.

if they are, this one's just as pretty.

my twenty-whut!

and i almost didn't make it. day started early for me.

was with E in the morning for birthday glamifying.

she introduced me to what're going to be my nff.

went out to celebrate with me.

my birthday's actually the day after, but i wanted to have

a quiet Sunday with the fam, so me day was Saturday.

orgasmic, i must say!

 i've been talking about this particular Saturday i had in Eastwood,

and i haven't even posted yet the purpose of my visit there, so here's it! =)

*btw, pardon the dates on the photos. and the poor photog skills too

i'm working on this fab project and i had to go fabric-hunting or -scouting.

whatever! so my friend E (who i'm with on this project), told me about

Fabric Warehouse. one has just got to see this place man!

the moment i stepped in, it was WOW. i can literally drown in all types

of fabric. i didn't know which ones to adore first. there were just too many.

it still wouldn't be a famous designer's destination for fabric stash,

but I HAD AN AWESOME, AWESOME TIME going around! =))

 Fabric Warehouse's staff are the most accommodating and friendly. they beat

the ones from Glorietta and Divi to the end.one kuya(sad that i didn't

get his name) would blindly follow me around i asked him the fabrics'

prices and names. so patient of him to wait as i finish writing down

notes(oh yes, i did.☺) and snapping on my cam.

 oh my! and my, my, my again!!! i fell totally in love with chiffon!♥

before i went there, i was already sorta drooling over it, and i like

fell all over again when i saw them in all their glorious flesh. hihi. =)

 this one placed second in my heart. =)

 Fabric Warehouse isn't exactly inside Eastwood City. i think using Eastwood's

just the easiest way to show directions that it stucked. it is actually across

Citibank Eastwood so you either have to make a u-turn or cross the foot bridge.

it occupies the lobby of a building(i didn't get the name) which i think is a

hotel or a condo. it doesn't have a visible door. once you enter the

building entrance, just face a little to the left, and there it will be. =)

 oh, i forgot to mention that all the staff looked really neat in their aprons.

you know, like the ones butlers wear. they also have a rack where swatches hang.

it is nice to go around but you sure can't do that every time you visit, thus the swatches.

 i told you they have all sorts of fabric, didn't i?

i took a snap of this cause Mama has a uniform of exactly this fabric. =)

i don't think i did my visit some justice with this post. =)

i can't tell you how elated i get when i visit such places.

if you know me, you'd get it when i say it's the same feeling i get when...

(wait, did i just hear what you were thinking? ha! yes that's heavenly,

but that's not what i was gonna say. you naughty!)

...when i go to book shops, silly!
