i have recently been drooling over how good dubstep music is,
so i got a little giddy when i first heard, actually saw, Madness on [V].
it has a little hint of dubstep tunes, or so i imagine?
and the video's really good!

quite a song, right? heehee. well, it was actually my little brother
who got me hooked to the genre. i kind of love how they're
so cool versions, sometimes cooler, of songs.

for starters, dubstep is basically a new genre
of electronic music. =)

i love this song because it's perfect for virgins!
dubstep virgin that is. it has quite a subtle attack since
it still has that pop kick. below is a remix of the song.
and the video is like a short film that's so sick! simply beautiful. =)

blogAvid: Can't Get Enough by Young JV

i don't think it's nice posting songs here. but believe me, i'm doing my best. ^_^ okay, i promise not to anymore unless i uber like the song. that a deal?

i was loitering around Eastwood last weekend and it happened to be the Saturday for the 2nd Urban Music Awards organized by the Metro's Most Influential R&B station, Wave 89.1. (i'll be blogging 'bout it soon.) so instead of calling it a night at 6-ish, we (i was with my brothers) ended up going home at 11. =)

i never have to explain how R&B/HipHop is on the top of my music list. it's the type of music which i don't need to be familiar with to like it. it's always love at first hear, no waiting for it to make it to mainstream. it's the rhythm my body is tuned to. (maybe it's what's playing in the hospital room when my mom was in labor. ;P ) I GRIND THE BEST TO THESE SONGS! and my mind goes really far to imagine- or fantasy-land so easily when these songs are playing. haha. =) if you'd ever like to know me through songs, this is the stuff baby. =)

Young JV bagged the Best Male Style Icon and Best Video awards. i believe he's a regular on ASAP and ShoutOut, but I never really sheepishly grinned over him until I saw this vid. ha ha ha! =D laugh now i tell you, 'cause this is gonna get cornier. he's just too cute here. in the boyish way, you know. that's why i feel so like a cougar. ugh! the last time i got boy-crush was over O-Town. (i knooooow, ok!)

i'm digging the club scene on this video 'cause it's really clean looking. not a lot of alcohol bottles or smoke. =) if clubbin' is ever my thing, it is only because of the dance floor! it's where all it happens. nothing makes me happier in a club. oh, except the beefcakes of course. hehe. does this boy even pass for a beefcake? JV, i shall wait for you til you drop the Young. (wouldn't i be older then too? psh!) hmn, let's just dance then, while i can still grind those hips. =)

i instantly loved the song the first time it came out. if i remember it right, i think i said it's because of the way the song was executed. it is so full of emotion. it almost felt like a real song. not some track from an album meant to make someone, in this case Katharine McPhee, a living. hihi. ;p and then after quite a time, i learned that her featured duet is, *drum roll*, Zachary Levi. the Chuck Bartowski man! THE geek! now, his performance isn't exactly standing ovation worthy, but surely it's a refreshing thing to see him sing. :)) yeah, refreshing! okay, can i just say that if i'm ever meant to end up with a geek, i would LOVE to end up with Zach, erm, Chuck? i think i'm mixing up things here already. seeesh! enjoy the cheese. ;]

it looks like a new year's blog entry is mandatory since everyone seems to have written one. so i'll try my best. but no pressures cause i'm a really lazy person. :)

since 2010's sort of a year i just want to erase on my life story, i am way glad over changing calendars. big hello 2011! a lot of people remarked that the holidays wasn't as festive as last year's, but trust me when i say it's a happy time to me. ;)

okay, maybe i don't want to really erase 2010. it's when i saw the true colors of everybody around me so it's still special. :) just imagine finding out that the people whom i thought have black for their gut's color turned out to have rainbow. and the ones i thought who have red have actually greasy black. so last year's not so bad. very humbling i'd say.:)

i'd like to thank everyone from last year but lemme do that some other time. :) i wanna wish everyone a happy year now. a little late i know, but i just told you i'm lazy. ;)

well, like i always say each year, OWN IT! 2011's the year. if the world's ending in 2012, then baby we're running out of time. maybe OWN IT MORE THIS YEAR's better. whatcha think?

and t.i.'s kinda gwapo. i mean, he got something if he was on larry king one time, right?♥ he's singing his life here. when i saw his interview on larry king, photos of his girl were flashed and i was like, "he's more beautiful than her." get what i mean? you get comments like that when you see couples together. hehe.;) and if he's this dedicated to his girl, well, woman, you are just lucky!:)
