Elie Saab S/S 2013

i normally don't have much to say about Elie Saab's creations.
and i still don't have. :) i mean the dresses just say it all.
and usually i'm just at my best drooling self so not time to say anything. ;)
but bear a little with me now because i will be saying a few.

okay, so this first blue dress is a killer! :)
it's so lola to me, like so '50s or so Stepford-ish kind of way
that it tickles me to try to put on my own floral lola dress
that i have never worn yet since the day i bought it.

a serious play of prints.
i say this the subtle goodbye from the beautiful lace.
or hopefully just a way to cut the monotony. ;)
i don't know how i'll define my love of Elie Saab dresses
without the lace. =)

i was wrong with the blue dress because this one is
deffo the killer! besides having me at the white, the cut is just
crazy genius! this is Grecian goddess to a whole new modern way. :)

lace ingenuity!

why hello there, mr. Genius! =)

Miroslava Duma for Symphony (Dubai)

this is gonna be my first post abut Miroslava Duma.
gah! i can't breathe. ;) i'm feeling so much kilig!
not only am i so in love with her style, i also get hawa with
all the oozing inspiration she gives out effortlessly through
well, her mere presence in the world wide web.
thank god for street style snappers! hihi. ;P

i was on my usual web scouring nang makasalubong ko to.
an ad campaign for the Dubai-based multi-brand botique
Symphony featuring Mira Duma (her web nick) photographed by no
other than the streetstyle photo god, Tommy Ton. *dying*

here are the bts photos all imported from Symphony.
love to be sharing them with you now. :)
let's drool together frogs & rats!

*accumulated drool*

The September Issue Cover War: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, etc.

okay, so not only does September marks the -ber months
coming in but it also is the month of the biggest & thickest issues of
fashion magazines (more like books really).
and of course, yer missus here can hardly contain her drool! ;)

besides contesting to put the most influential people on their covers,
fashion mags aim to come out with the most number of ad pages
for their September issues. let's start the butchering. ;)

this is easily my favorite! already, yes. :)
it's still July, and i've got my fave already! :)
Gwen Stefani is just love, and so is Harper's Bazaar.

Marie Claire's 5th reacord-breaking issue of the year! :)
and it has Miley Cyrus on the cover. :) yeah, i'm a closet Miley fan.
ssshhhhh. ;) i also hear Chanel RTW is doing ads in this ish for the first time.

Glamour may have lost a few ad pages this time, but i'm
sure it won't lose on sales. what, with Victoria Beckham on the cover?
no fail! sold, sold, sold! you had me at V. :)

Selena Gomez covers Teen Vogue September power issue. :)

very fitting! Jennifer Lopez for InStyle
is a match made in well, almost heaven. :)

with Katy Perry on the cover, well, this really may be the largest ish ever. :)

Vogue boasts that this is to be their biggest issue EVER!
don't they say that each time? ;P

now, notice how each cover features an artist?
no supermodels allowed, eh? hmmm.
i love September issues! they're what made me start my blogging
back in Sept 2010. even fashion magazines here
in the Philippines live up to the September pressure. :))
it's always a happy place for me! :D
and you can guess, i drool a lot around this month. :D

Elie Saab Fall 2012 Couture

ohmygaw! i know i'm gonna run out of words here.
not literally, of course. i know i'm just never gonna be able to
express what awe i truly feel over the gorgeousness of this
collection. i love everything! Elie Saab love! :)

this lace could not get any more elegant.

i'd wear this anytime. that's if i can afford to get one. ;)
key word loves, drool. remember? ;P

i started dying here. you seriously ad me at the flow. ;)

i desire this!!!

really so ingenious work combining these fabrics.

like come on, you can't rock other dresses in lace and look this classy!

i died a zillion times over. ;D

print on print

a different take on print on print. :)
instead of pairing a printed top with a printed bottom,
i wore my leopard print flats with my printed tights. :))
my version of laid back 'cause this Monday is no manic.
was supposed to go home to Cavite
but changed plans and ran some errands instead.
to the grocery store! have a nice week frograts! ♥

Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013

Oscar de la Renta to me equals gorgeous gowns.
but his Resort 2013 collection veered away from the usual.
i love the pop of colors here and there.
and how some of the pieces are rather laid back
instead of the always grandiose. these here are some of the ones i like.

SIDENOTE: i'm so sad summer is over.
so jealous that it's just starting at the other
end of the globe. :/
